Varun Manian enters Kollywood


At the top of the film industry food chain, nothing happens without the producer.

Varun Manian the young and dynamic entrepreneur who heads Radiance Realty Developers India Ltd is making his foray into films in a big way. The smart and suave Manian is clear in his intentions: “Make unusual films on low budget and set the cash registers rolling and try our best to take cinema to the next level”. 

Varun has big plans for the entertainment industry. The first film that Manian will be funding will be Producer YNOT Studios Sashikanth’s  Siddharth- Prithiviraj starrer Kaaviya Thalaivan directed by noted director Vasanthabalan. And now through his entertainment company, Radiance Media, Varun is finalizing plans to freeze on good scripts and make quality cinema under his own banner.

Radiance Media, has entered into an exclusive five-movie deal with YNOT Studios, who had produced the trendsetting Balaji Mohan’s sleeper hit KSY last year. The first of the five-film deal will be Kaaviya Thalaivan.  

In an exclusive interview, Varun told sify.com: “Our prime focus will be to discover and nurture new talent, giving established filmmakers and actors the opportunities to excel in their works and striving for excellence without compromise.”
Varun also revealed that Radiance Media will be producing their first film with director Balaji Mohan.  Varun said: “We are excited and proud to be associated with director Balaji Mohan for a bilingual and plan to launch the hot 'n' happening Dulquer Salman in Tamil.” 

Radiance Media is sure to make their presence felt in south Indian cinema with specialised focus on small and medium sized budgets.
